Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2026 /Kabar/. More than 3,500 police officers will ensure public safety in Talas Oblast on September 11–12 in connection with the celebration of the Independence Day of the Kyrgyz Republic and the opening ceremonies for construction projects, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
A meeting regarding public safety measures during the festive events took place this morning at the Talas Region Internal Affairs Directorate, attended by Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs Major General of Police Oktyabr Urmambetov and Major General of Police Suyunbek Niyazbekov.
During the meeting, discussions focused on measures to maintain public order and ensure road safety during the Independence Day celebrations and the opening ceremonies for construction projects. The deputy ministers issued a series of directives aimed at ensuring a high level of public safety and preventing offenses.
Instructions were also given to strengthen operational procedures, ensure personnel readiness, and facilitate prompt responses to various situations.
Following the meeting, orders were issued to carry out the assigned tasks in a timely and effective manner.
