Bishkek, July 27, 2026. /Kabar/. The plenary session of the SCO Media and Analytical Center Forum is taking place at the Ala-Archa State Residence in Bishkek.
The second part of the event is devoted to humanitarian and cultural cooperation. Participants will discuss dialogue between civilizations, cultural exchange, and the role of new technologies.
The following key topics are planned for consideration during this part of the plenary session:
* practices of humanitarian cooperation and cultural exchange within the SCO;
* dialogue of civilizations through the "Poetic Silk Road" initiative;
* development of information technology and AI, and their impact on creating new opportunities for cultural interaction;
* role of culture in promoting national brands in foreign markets.
The event aims to deepen information, cultural, and technological cooperation between the SCO countries.
As a reminder, today, the first-ever forum of media and think tanks of the SCO member states is being held in Bishkek, organized by Kabar and Xinhua.
Around 250 representatives from 26 countries are participating in the event, including heads of leading news agencies, media representatives, think tanks, research institutes, government agencies, and international organizations.
The forum's theme is "The SCO in a New Era: From Mutual Understanding to Practical Cooperation." During plenary sessions and thematic sessions, participants will discuss the development of international information cooperation, the digital transformation of the media environment, humanitarian interaction, and contemporary challenges in the global information space.
