Talas, Sept. 11, 2026. /Kabar/. I firmly believe that the Akylman Lyceum will become a center of knowledge and new opportunities for our gifted children, President Sadyr Zhaparov told at the opening ceremony of the Akylman Lyceum in Talas.
The head of state noted that these lyceums should educate patriotic young men and women.
"Gathering exceptionally gifted children from all corners of the country and unleashing their talents is the call of the times. I firmly believe that both the Akylman Lyceum, which opened three years ago in Issyk-Kul, and the lyceum that opens its doors today in Talas, will become a center of knowledge and new opportunities for our gifted children, selected from across the country. "These lyceums, along with providing a modern education, should also nurture true citizens of Kyrgyzstan, patriotic young men and women who combine national foundations and values, patriotism, and high human qualities, continuing the primordial path of our united people," the head of state said.
The President’s Akylman Lyceum, a specialized educational institution for gifted children, opened in Kyrgyzstan’s Talas city.
The opening of the Talas lyceum is part of a wider national effort to expand educational opportunities for gifted children.
The Talas lyceum is the second President’s Akylman Lyceum in Kyrgyzstan. The first such institution was opened in Issyk-Kul Region in 2023.
