President Aliyev: Cooperation with Kyrgyzstan reaches highest level

Bishkek, July 31, 2026 /Kabar/. Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan have reached the highest level - alliance level, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev spoke during meeting with President Sadyr Zhaparov as part of his state visit to Kyrgyzstan.

According to him, cooperation between the two countries is developing steadily in all key areas and there is confidence that the goals set will be fully realized.

“As a friendly and fraternal country, we are always happy about your successes. We accept the achievements of a fraternal country as our own,” Aliyev said.

He also highly appreciated Kyrgyzstan's achievements in socio-economic development, strengthening its economic potential and strengthening its position in the international arena.

Aliyev noted that the Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Development Fund is operating successfully, and a number of projects are being implemented with its funds.

He noted that as the fund's activities expand, the number of such projects will increase, further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, Aliyev highlighted Azerbaijan's contribution to the development of the tourism industry in Kyrgyzstan. In particular, he added that the ongoing construction of hotels in Issyk-Kul will improve tourism infrastructure and strengthen economic ties.
