Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov's participation in the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held in Gabala, Azerbaijan, has concluded.

In his speech, the president recalled that a year ago, the Kyrgyz Republic assumed the honorable mission of chairing the OTS and prepared a Roadmap for cooperation in economics, trade, investment, and finance.

He emphasized the Kyrgyz side's initiative to conclude an Agreement on the Mutual Recognition of Electronic Digital Signatures, which will ensure the legal recognition of digital documents.

The president also noted that the first meeting of the heads of government of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States took place in Bishkek on September 18 of this year. This is an important outcome of Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship and a historic step in the development of the Organization.

Following the Gabala Summit, the Kyrgyz Republic officially concluded its chairmanship in the OTS and passed the baton to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The heads of state then signed a number of multilateral documents.

Additionally, Sadyr Zhaparov took part in an online groundbreaking ceremony for a mosque that Turkmenistan will build in the city of Fuzuli.

Having completed his participation in the latest OTS Summit in Gabala, President Sadyr Zhaparov returned to Bishkek on October 7.
