Bishkek, Oct. 7, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, October 7, during a working visit to the Naryn region, President Sadyr Zhaparov inspected the construction project for a new military complex for the Naryn Regional Border Directorate of the Taylak Baatyr State Border Guard Service.
The head of state was briefed on the project, its key facilities, and the infrastructure being developed.
The new military complex is being built in Naryn city on a 13.4-hectare site. Construction began in the first quarter of 2026, with completion scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
The complex will feature a wide range of facilities necessary to support the service duties, housing, and living conditions of military personnel. Specifically, plans include the construction of a headquarters building, barracks, guard facilities, a training classroom, and other structures.
The site will also include a 60-seat kindergarten, a children's playground, a sports complex, a football field, and a guesthouse.
The project aims to create modern conditions for military service, housing, and daily living, as well as to strengthen the logistical and technical capabilities of the Naryn Regional Border Directorate.
The president emphasized the need to pay special attention to the quality of construction, site landscaping, and the creation of proper conditions for service and living for military personnel and their families.
