Cholpon-Ata, July 31, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan, acting as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2027-2028, will strive to actively promote the common interests of the region, President Sadyr Zhaparov told at informal meeting of Central Asian states' heads and the President of Azerbaijan in Cholpon-Ata.
Zhaparov expressed gratitude for the support provided in the nomination of Kyrgyzstan for non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council, calling the joint statement adopted in Tashkent a clear demonstration of regional solidarity.
