Bishkek, Sept. 18, 2025 /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov received the heads of government and vice presidents of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) member states.
The first meeting of the heads of government/vice presidents of the OTS member states is a historical event that marks an important stage in the development of cooperation within the Organization. President Sadyr Zhaparov warmly welcomed the heads of delegations and emphasized that the Turkic States Organization has come a long way since its establishment and is successfully developing today.
If we want our organization to continue to develop, we must carry out actions that will bring concrete and real results, such as meetings like this one. Practical steps supported by political will strengthens and enhance the prestige of our organization, expressing confidence that many economic, infrastructure, and humanitarian issues can be successfully resolved at the level of heads of government, the head of state said.
In his speech, Sadyr Zhaparov especially noted the steadily developing trade and economic relations between the Turkic-speaking states. In this context, he emphasized the importance of the Turkish Investment Fund as an effective tool for economic integration and expressed confidence in the need to activate its activities at the level of heads of government.
In turn, the heads of delegations expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and assessed the Kyrgyz side's initiative to hold this meeting as an important platform for implementing the tasks set by the heads of state.
They emphasized that such contacts contribute to the further development of the Organization and the deepening of integration processes, confirmed Kyrgyzstan's successful OTS chairmanship, and expressed hope that the agreements reached at the meeting at the level of heads of government would give new impetus to practical cooperation between the countries.
The meeting was attended by Azerbaijan Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev, Vice President of Turkiye Cevdet Yilmaz, Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, and OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
