President Zhaparov receives highest state award of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev Order

Bishkek, July 31, 2026 /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov was awarded with the highest state award of Azerbaijan — the Heydar Aliyev Order.

The award was presented by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev as part of his state visit to Kyrgyzstan, who highly appreciated Zhaparov's contribution to the development of the country.

In his speech, Aliyev highlighted the changes taking place in Kyrgyzstan in recent years, noting that the country's socio-economic development, international reputation and investment opportunities have significantly increased. He also cited the rapid development of the Issyk-Kul region as an example, noting that such growth has not been observed in such a short period of time before.

“It is impossible not to notice the changes in Kyrgyzstan. These achievements are the result of the country's leader's dedication to his people, his efforts to preserve national values ​​and bring the state to a new level,” Aliyev said.

He also noted that the migration flow in Kyrgyzstan is changing in a positive direction, noting that the number of citizens returning home from abroad is increasing.

Azerbaijani President Sadyr Zhaparov, in particular, emphasized the role of his predecessor in strengthening Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani relations, expressing his high appreciation for his work in this area.

“Azerbaijan highly appreciates your contribution to the development of Kyrgyzstan and the strengthening of fraternal ties between the two countries. By my decree, you have been awarded the highest award of Azerbaijan - the Heydar Aliyev Order,” he said.
