Bishkek, July 29, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Election of Kyrgyz President and Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic".

The Constitutional Law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on June 24, 2026.

The purpose of the Constitutional Law is to improve the electoral legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The next presidential elections of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held on January 27, 2027.

Voting days in the elections of the President and deputies of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic shall be considered as days off, regardless of the form of ownership of the employer.
