Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2026 /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Human Rights Commissioner of the Russian Federation Yana Lantratova, the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that the Kyrgyz side attaches great importance to further strengthening the Kyrgyz-Russian strategic partnership and alliance, as well as consistently expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas. Given that a significant number of Kyrgyz citizens reside and work in Russia, he emphasized the particular importance of ensuring their legitimate rights and interests, as well as consistently resolving emerging migration and social issues.
In this context, it was noted that the Kyrgyz side attaches great importance to continuing a constructive dialogue with Russian partners on issues directly affecting the situation of Kyrgyz citizens and their families. Particular attention is paid to assisting citizens included in the register of controlled individuals, further improving and simplifying migration procedures, ensuring full access to education for the children of Kyrgyz citizens, and issues of medical and social security for family members of workers.
Yana Lantratova expressed her commitment to further strengthening and developing cooperation on priority issues. She noted that active cooperation is underway between the Russian Human Rights Commissioner's Office and the Kyrgyz Ombudsman's Office in relevant areas, including the initiative to create a Russian-Kyrgyz Center for the Protection of Citizens' Rights.
