Bishkek, Sept. 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Russian President Vladimir Putin noted Kyrgyzstan's work in preparing and hosting the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Bishkek.
He stated this on September 1 during a meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.
According to Putin, during Kyrgyzstan's presidency, with the direct participation of Sadyr Zhaparov, important decisions on the further development and strengthening of the SCO were agreed upon.
"Following the summit, a number of key documents were approved, including the Bishkek Declaration and the Protocol to the SCO Charter," the Russian leader noted.
Putin also highlighted Kyrgyzstan's extensive work in preparing and hosting the summit.
