Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. Excavation work continues on Lebedinovka - GES-5 road, Ministry of Transport and Communications reports.
According to the ministry, the project includes the construction of sidewalks, lighting, as well as the widening of the existing large bridge and the construction of a pedestrian bridge.
The total length of the Lebedinovka - GES-5 road is 5.1 km. As part of the reconstruction, the road category was changed, the roadway was widened from two to four lanes, and the first layer of asphalt concrete pavement was laid. In addition, an additional two-lane road will be built parallel to the main road, leading to Birimdik-Kut residential area, and 20% more new saplings will be planted in place of the felled trees.
