Bishkek, July 20, 2026 /Kabar/. The paving of a 35.5-kilometer road leading to the Kyrchyn pasture in Issyk-Kul region has been completed.
According to the ministry of transport, the work was carried out using state funds.
It is noted that the road reconstruction was carried out as part of the approved action plan in preparation for the VI World Nomad Games.
The ministry reported that the project also includes strengthening the shoulders of the road, installing road signs and protective barriers, and constructing dedicated parking areas for cars.
The ministry emphasized that the upgraded road will ensure safe and comfortable travel for tourists and contribute to the development of the Issyk-Kul region's tourism potential.
