Sadyr Zhaparov opens Talas city central mosque
Bishkek, Sept. 11, 26 /Kabar/. Today, September 11, during a working visit to Talas Oblast, President Sadyr Zhaparov took part in the opening ceremony of the Talas city central mosque, the presidential administration reported.
The central mosque will become one of the city's largest spiritual centers and an important place for its residents and visitors.
The four-story building can accommodate up to 4,500 people at a time. It features spacious prayer halls, spaces for religious education, and public events.
The head of state toured the mosque and familiarized himself with its amenities.
A prayer service concluded the ceremony.
