Bishkek, Oct. 8 /Kabar/. Today, October 8, a welcoming ceremony was held in the city of Turkmenbashi, where the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov welcomed the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, on the sidelines of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, the presidential administration reports.
Also participating in the summit are the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev; the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon; the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev; and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
After the welcoming ceremony and the photo session, the heads of state proceeded to the meeting hall.
