Bishkek, Dec.10, 2025. /Kabar/. Cabinet of Ministers approved the allocation of additional funds for scientific institutions in connection with salary increases. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev signed corresponding order.
According to the document, the Ministry of Finance is instructed to allocate from the national budget in 2025:
19.24 million soms to the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation;
113.69 million soms to the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
These funds are intended to provide increased salaries for employees of scientific organizations. Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance is instructed to take these changes into account when preparing the draft law on adjusting the national budget for 2025–2027 and to submit information on the implementation of the order to the relevant committee of the new Parliament.
Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation and the National Academy of Sciences are obligated to ensure the targeted use of the allocated funds.
