Bishkek, Aug. 29, 2026 /Kabar/. Today, August 29, in Bishkek, President Sadyr Zhaparov inspected the security forces involved in ensuring public safety during the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and the 6th World Nomad Games, the presidential administration reported.
Approximately 15,000 employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Health, the prosecutor's office, the State Security Service, the tax and customs services, the State Penitentiary Service, the State Border Service, and the Judicial Department under the Supreme Court participated in the garrison parade.
As part of the comprehensive "Security" event, personnel from the involved agencies are on high alert.
After hearing reports from law enforcement officials on their full readiness for duty, the head of state inspected the personnel and equipment.
The president was shown armored vehicles, ambulances, ambulances, radio communications equipment, anti-drone guns, forensic kits, portable X-ray machines, command vehicles, metal detectors, manipulators, water cannons, as well as mounted and canine units.

Sadyr Zhaparov called on law enforcement agencies to strengthen interagency cooperation, strictly maintain discipline, ensure order in crowded places, and demonstrate courtesy and promptness when addressing citizens' concerns.
