Bishkek, May 19, 2026. /Kabar/. 10th Meeting of Heads of Ministries and Departments of Science and Technology of the SCO Member States will be held in Bishkek on May 22, according to the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the ministry, the main goal of the meeting is to strengthen cooperation and develop collaboration in science, technology, and innovation between SCO member states.
The heads of ministries and departments will discuss current issues of scientific and technological partnership, exchange experiences, and develop joint initiatives aimed at developing the scientific potential of participating countries.
Representatives of SCO member states, including delegations from Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, as well as representatives of the SCO Secretariat, will participate in the meeting.
The meeting will serve as an important international platform for discussing current issues of cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, as well as strengthening partnerships between SCO member states.
