Bishkek, Sept. 1, 2026. /Kabar/. A summit meeting in the SCO+ format is being held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The theme of the meeting is "The UN as a Key Element of a Just World Order: The Contribution of SCO+ States to the Formation of a Multipolar World."
The heads of delegations from states and international organizations arrived at the Yrys Ordo Congress Center to participate in the summit:
- Deputy Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt Hussein Mohamed Ahmed Issa;
- UN Secretary-General António Guterres;
- Vice President of Vietnam Vo Thi Anh Xuan;
- Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan;
- President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Thongloun Sisoulith;
- President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh;
- Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Togolese Republic Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé;
- President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev;
- President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan;
Opening the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov welcomed the participants and officially declared it open.
