SCO Youth Delphic Games: Young artisans present national crafts

Bishkek, March 25, 2026. /Kabar/. Today, the competition days of the first Youth Delphic Games of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states began in Bishkek.

According to the mayor's office, the official opening of the "Arts and Crafts" category took place at the Gapar Aitiev National Museum of Fine Arts. The event was attended by Absamat Akunov, Deputy Head of the Bishkek City Hall's Department of Culture, and Kuralai Tuspekova, Director of the National Delphic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who officially opened the competition.

For two days, young talents will showcase their skills and compete in the "Arts and Crafts" category.

In this category, young artisans present national handicrafts: shyrdak, ala kiyiz, weaving, embroidery, ceramics, leatherwork, wood carving, and jewelry.

The competition is held in eight categories: piano, fine arts, folk and pop vocal art, folk dancing, DJing, folk instrument performance, and arts and crafts.
