Bishkek, May 27, 2025 /Kabar/. Entrepreneur Rysgul Akimzhanova conquered the summit of Everest, her husband, deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Emil Toktoshev told.

According to him, today, May 27, at 04:40 Nepalese time, Rysgul Akimzhanova successfully climbed Everest, the highest mountain in the world, located at an altitude of 8,848 meters, and hoisted the flag of Kyrgyzstan.

“Rysgul is now descending to the lower camp. We pray that she gets there safely. We sincerely thank everyone who supported us and conveyed good wishes,” Toktoshev noted.

Last week, Rysgul Akimzhanova already tried to climb Everest, but was forced to return from a height of 8,400 meters due to lack of oxygen.

Thus, this is already the second time in the history of Kyrgyzstan that the country's flag was raised on Everest by a woman. Earlier, on May 11, Asel Baibagysheva successfully conquered the summit.
