Bishkek, Sept. 16, 2025 /Kabar/. As of January-August 2025, the share of food industry enterprises, including beverages and tobacco products, in the total volume of products of the processing industry of the republic amounted to 20.3%.
Ministry of Agriculture reports, according to preliminary calculations, in January-August 2025, industrial enterprises processing agricultural products produced food, beverages and tobacco products worth 68 billion 728 million 200 thousand soms in current prices, the physical volume index was 144.4%.
In January-August 2024, the physical volume index was - 119.3%, which indicates a significant increase in production volumes in 2025.
