Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2026. /Kabar/. Speaker of Jogorku Kenesh Marlen Mamataliev held a meeting with the heads of the parliamentary staff and department heads.
According to the parliamentary press service, First Deputy Speaker Chyngyz Azhibaev also participated in the meeting.
Speaker set a number of objectives for improving parliamentary performance, noting that special attention should be paid to digitalization.
"It is well known that a large amount of paper is used in legislative work and document flow. We must eliminate this practice and focus on digitalization," he said.
He also emphasized that key problems and important societal issues should be discussed within parliament with the participation of relevant parties, rather than outside its walls.
Mamataliev raised the initiative to organize a special discussion platform in Jogorku Kenesh, expressing his willingness to personally participate.
