State funding for pediatric oncology increased in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 18, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan presented the results of the development of the pediatric oncology system and priority areas of international cooperation in Geneva.

According to the Ministry of Health, this was held within the framework of the 79th session of the World Health Assembly.

At the event, Minister Damir Osmonov noted that the development of pediatric oncology is a key direction of state policy. Over the past ten years, state funding for this sector in the country has increased more than 200 times. This has allowed for expanding access to modern medicines and improving the quality of diagnostics.
