Bishkek, Feb. 2, 2026 /Kabar/. Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev visited the "Kyrgyzmamasyltukumzavod" (breeding factory) in Frunze village, Sokuluk district, and got acquainted with the progress of introducing a melioration method to improve depleted arable land and using modern agricultural machinery.
As reported by the department, during the visit, Minister Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that the development of melioration and technical modernization of the industry are one of the priority areas of the state agrarian policy.
It was also reported that as part of state support, agricultural equipment worth $2.5 million has been purchased for the country's agricultural producers and breeding farms in 2025, which will be leased.
