Sydykov: Kyrgyzstan will become regional logistics and digital hub

Bishkek, Nov. 18, 2025 /Kabar/. National Development Strategy of Kyrgyzstan until 2030, which defines ambitious and realistic development targets for the country, is fully aligned with the long-term goals of the CAREC 2030 program, Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sydykov, speaking at the forum.

According to the minister, Kyrgyzstan has been assigned clear and specific objectives within its strategic priorities in logistics and regional connectivity, including the creation of regional logistics hub, the development of digital trade hub, and strengthening the country's role as a green energy hub.

"Our geographic location is a key resource connecting China, the EAEU countries, South Asia, and Europe. In this regard, we strive to create a space for innovation and startups, as well as become a territory of great opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs," emphasized Bakyt Sydykov.

As a reminder, a two-day Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) business forum is taking place in Bishkek.
