Bishkek, July 10, 2026. /Kabar/. On July 7, aviation accident occurred at Manas International Airport in Bishkek involving a Tez Jet aircraft operating a Bishkek-Osh flight.
Kyrgyzstan Airports reported that immediately after the incident, the State Civil Aviation Agency launched an official investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
According to him, an unscheduled inspection of Tez Jet's operations was simultaneously conducted.
"The inspection revealed serious violations of Kyrgyz aviation legislation that directly impact flight safety. Based on these violations, the State Civil Aviation Agency has decided to revoke Tez Jet's license.
The State Civil Aviation Agency will continue to take the most principled and strict decisions regarding any operator whose activities pose a risk to flight safety. Regardless of the airline's name, history, scale of business, or market position, the law applies to all," Samidinov noted.
As a reminder, an emergency involving a TezJet aircraft occurred at Manas International Airport in Bishkek. During takeoff, the aircraft's rear landing gear collapsed, causing the aircraft to tilt onto its left wing and, before it could take off, crash landed on the runway.
