Bishkek, Sept. 9, 2026 /Kabar/. Kaisar Qiyum, Chairman of the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, has invited Eduard Kubatov, Director of the State Agency for Tourism Development, to pay an official visit to Xinjiang in 2027. This was announced during a bilateral meeting between Eduard Kubatov and Kaisar Kyuyum, held to discuss future cooperation.
According to the Tourism Development Agency, the parties discussed cooperation in the fields of tourism, culture, and sports, placing particular emphasis on expanding cross-border tourism.
An agreement was also reached to organize familiarization tours for representatives of the tourism industry, the media, and bloggers, as well as to participate jointly in international tourism exhibitions and forums.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed confidence in continued fruitful cooperation.
