Bishkek, June 16, 2025. / Kabar /. One of the most exciting summer sporting events, the fifth Night Run, took place in Bishkek.
The mayor's office reported that the event brought together about 3,000 participants from 25 countries who took part in the 5 and 10-kilometer distances.
Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Victoria Mozgacheva took part in the opening of the marathon, wishing the participants an easy distance, bright emotions and a good mood.
Everyone who crossed the finish line was awarded a commemorative medal as a symbol of participation in the race.
The results were also summed up in the men's and women's categories for each distance: the winners were awarded medals and valuable prizes from partners.
An interactive exhibition area with entertainment activities from partners, gifts and themed photo zones was organized at the start area. Participants could warm up during a general warm-up before the start, and after the race - relax and recharge with emotions during the concert program.
Night Run traditionally brings together not only professional athletes, but also amateurs who challenge themselves and choose an active lifestyle. The race is held with the aim of developing mass sports and physical culture as the most important component of the health of the nation.
A special feature of the event was the evening format - the participants covered the distance in the atmosphere of the sunset and the night city, which created a special mood and a unique running experience.
The organizers of the event are the Public Association "Nomad Sport" and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism and Work with Youth of the Bishkek City Hall.
