Bishkek, Sept. 5, 2025 /Kabar/. The opening ceremony of the Days of Turkish Cinema took place In Bishkek, at the Ala-Too cinema, the Ministry of Culture reported.
The cultural event is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkiye, the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of Kyrgyzstan, the Department of Cinematography, the Turkish Embassy in Bishkek and the Yerli Dushunce Public Foundation.
During the ceremony, the guests of honor on the red carpet were Turkish film stars - famous actresses Damla Sönmez, Yıldız Çağrı Atiksoy, Ejem Sena Bayır and Duygu Merjan, as well as actors Barış Kılıç and Anıl Altan.
The Days of Turkish Cinema “Turkiye-Kyrgyzstan", aimed at strengthening cultural ties between the two countries and popularizing Turkish cinematography, will be held in Bishkek on September 4 – 8.
At the opening, viewers saw the feature film "One of Those Days When Everyone Died" - Turkiye's official nomination for the 2025 Oscars. The director and lead actor Murat Fıratoglu personally attended the ceremony and interacted with the audience.

September 6: “From Mind to Heart” — directed by Özer Feyzioglu
September 7: “Hay Hak Karagöz – Hajivat” (animated film) — directed by Kenan Aktaşın
September 8: “Erke” — directed by Onur Ünnü.
