Bishkek, July 27, 2026 /Kabar/. The media and think tanks of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states should make an important contribution to strengthening mutual trust between states, developing cooperation, and ensuring peace and stability in the region. Xi Yanchun, Deputy Director of Xinhua News Agency, stated at SCO media and think tanks forum in Bishkek.

According to her, this year marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of SCO, and during this period, the organization's member states have strived for development through joint efforts and have carried out significant work to strengthen peace and stability.
