Bishkek, Sept. 11, 2026 /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov said that the reconstruction of the Manas Ordo complex has become a large-scale project to preserve cultural heritage and transmit spiritual values to future generations.
Speaking at the opening of the renovated complex in Talas Oblast, the head of state noted that the Manas epic is one of the greatest contributions of the Kyrgyz people to the world cultural treasury.
Manas Ordo is a sacred national center that should serve for centuries as a place to preserve the nation's great heritage, national identity, and spiritual world, and pass them on to future generations, the president emphasized.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan's unity, cohesion, and independence are values that were earned by the people at a high price—through the blood, life, and labor of their ancestors.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted that economic development should not be limited to the construction of modern roads, schools, hospitals, and industrial facilities.
"If we limit ourselves solely to economic development and ignore our national spiritual heritage, ideology, landmarks, and historical memory, our development will be incomplete," he said.
The president emphasized that the reconstruction of Manas Ordo was viewed as a strategic direction for deepening its historical and cultural significance and transforming the complex into a modern museum complex that combines ancient history and new technologies.
As part of the project, a large conference hall for scientific, government, and international events, a multifunctional administrative building, a pilgrimage center, and other facilities were built at Manas Ordo.
The complex's museum, which previously occupied 700 square meters, was expanded to 1,090 square meters after the construction of additional buildings.
Furthermore, digital capabilities for conducting tours on the history of Kyrgyzstan are being introduced within the complex. Historical information will now be presented to visitors in a modern format.
"We have taken a step toward not only carefully preserving our ancient heritage, but also passing it on to the next generation in the language of the 21st century," the head of state noted.
The President expressed confidence that Manas Ordo will become a national spiritual school that will educate young people in the spirit of patriotism, a desire for knowledge, and innovative development.
Speaking about the significance of the Talas region, Sadyr Zhaparov noted that this land, associated with the name of Manas the Magnanimous, should serve as an example of national unity, dignity, honor, and heroism.
"May the Kyrgyz Manas Ordo National Complex continue to unite our people and, by the grace of the Almighty, bring prosperity and abundance to our country," the president said.
He also expressed the hope that the complex would become a magnet for guests from around the world, who would be able to learn about the glorious history of the Kyrgyz people and honor the spirit of Manas.
"May our national spirit be high, our state grow stronger, and our independence consolidated! May the spirit of Manas the Magnanimous support us!" concluded Sadyr Zhaparov.
