Talas, Sept. 11, 2026. /Kabar/. During a ceremony in Talas Oblast dedicated to the 35th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan's independence, President Sadyr Zhaparov opened 105 social and industrial facilities across the country online.

The newly commissioned facilities include schools, kindergartens, hospitals, factories, plants, and other industrial enterprises.

The launch of these new facilities is aimed at improving social infrastructure in the regions, developing manufacturing, and creating new jobs.

Kyrgyzstan's Independence Day is traditionally celebrated on August 31. This year, however, the main celebrations were postponed due to the SCO Summit held in Bishkek.

In recent years, it has become a tradition to hold Independence Day celebrations in different regions of the country. This year's festivities are taking place in Talas, while last year's celebrations were held in Jalal-Abad Oblast.
