Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2026. /Kabar/. Currently, 22,000 Kyrgyzstanis are employed legally abroad. Baktybek Kudaiberdiev, director of employment center for citizens abroad told Birinchi Radio.

According to him, citizens are currently working in 26 countries. These figures represent the results for the first ten months of this year.

"In 2025, more than 25,000 citizens are employed, that is increase of 10% compared to the previous year. This indicates growing trust among citizens in state authorities, as well as in the agencies that operate with official authorization.

Those who go abroad through these channels tend to encounter fewer difficulties. In contrast, many of those who travel independently often face the violation of their rights and find themselves in difficult situations," the director stated.
