Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. The 3rd Russian-Kyrgyz Educational Forum "State. "Industry. Universities: Joint Projects for Russia and Kyrgyzstan," the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation said.
The forum brought together representatives of universities, government agencies, the scientific community, and industry from Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
At the opening, Minister of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation Gulzat Isamatova emphasized the importance of moving from existing agreements to the implementation of joint projects.
"Previous meetings have created a foundation for further cooperation. Our task now is to build on the agreements reached, filling them with concrete projects and measurable results," the minister noted.
According to her, key areas of cooperation include joint educational programs and research, academic mobility, practice-oriented training, and university-employer interactions. Particular attention is being paid to Russian-Kyrgyz consortia of technical, medical, and agricultural universities.
The forum is taking place October 1–2 at the area of Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University, the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University, and the Kyrgyz State Technical University.
The forum also includes an exhibition of Russian universities, where prospective students can learn about educational programs and study opportunities at Russian universities.
