Bishkek, Nov. 7, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration Adylbek Kasymaliev congratulated media representatives on their professional holiday, Information and Press Day.

"Dear representatives of the media!

I sincerely congratulate you on your professional holiday, Information and Press Day!

On November 7, 1924, the first issue of the Erkin-Too newspaper was published in Kyrgyz language, marking a significant event in the history of national journalism. It is in honor of this historic event that Information and Press Day is celebrated annually in our country.

Information has always held a special place in people's lives. Especially today, with the rapid development of digitalization, its importance is becoming even more significant.

Today, information is not just a means of exchanging news, but a powerful tool for shaping public opinion. In such circumstances, you, the representatives of the pen and the word, are an important bridge between the state and the people. Therefore, the responsibility for the accuracy, reliability, and objectivity of every word you say is extremely high. After all, it is through the information you disseminate that people perceive the world around them.

Dear journalists!

Your profession requires deep knowledge, constant work, high moral standards, and honor. Through the power of words, you build trust and shape public awareness and the worldview of citizens.

We highly value your work in objectively analyzing the activities of government agencies, businesses, public organizations, and ordinary citizens, as well as in enhancing their accountability to society. Journalism is called the mirror of society, as the development of a country depends largely on the state of journalism.

Today, when the media sphere is rapidly evolving in line with the demands of the times, it is especially important to uphold professional principles and values. Journalists must be able to think critically, objectively evaluate facts, thoroughly analyze events, and work in a rapidly changing information environment.

I wish you success, prosperity, and good health to your families!

May your pen continue to justify the people's trust!

Happy holidays to you!
