Bishkek, Sept. 30, 2025. /Kabar/. During his official visit, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyz Republic met with Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus.

According to Cabinet of Ministers, the head of the Kyrgyz government thanked the Belarusian side for the warm welcome and impeccable organization of the visit, and conveyed warm greetings from Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov.

The talks focused on practical steps to increase bilateral trade and investment, implement joint projects, and expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They noted the effective cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus both bilaterally and within the CSTO, CIS, EAEU, and SCO.

Alexander Lukashenko highly praised the efforts of government heads of two countries to intensify joint work and focus on concrete results. They emphasized that relations have gained new momentum in recent years, opening up additional opportunities for business and humanitarian ties.

Following the meeting, a shared commitment to further strengthening partnership and expanding practical cooperation was reaffirmed. It was particularly noted that the current visit was the first official visit by the head of the Kyrgyz government in 24 years, giving it particular symbolic significance.
