Bishkek, Nov. 24, 2025./Kabar/. During a working visit to the Naryn oblast, Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers inspected the Torugart checkpoint and the Torugart-1 coal mine.

cabinet head inspected the Torugart checkpoint's public service center, which was reopened after renovations. He visited the Chatyr-Kol border service unit and inspected the military personnel's living conditions.

Adylbek Kasymaliev also visited the Torugart-1 coal mine, which began operations on November 12 of this year. Kyrgyzkomur OJSC has received an exploration license for a 557.6-hectare site at the Torugart-1 coal deposit, located in the At-Bashy region. To date, coal has been confirmed on 25-hectare site, with total reserves estimated at 423,400 tons. This site has produced approximately 10,000 tons of coal fuel to date.

Cabinet head instructed that the Torugart-1 open-pit coal mine be operated reliably and that its output be exported as soon as possible.
