Bishkek, March 9, 2026. /Kabar/. All landfills in Bishkek will close this year, Bekzhan Sultangaziev, Deputy Director of the environmental and technical supervision service told at Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) committee.
According to him, only one central landfill will remain, which will have a separate storage area for construction waste.
"Concrete and other waste that cannot be burned. The mayor's office plans to complete this work this year," Sultangaziev noted.
