“Azerbaijani and Turkish companies may collaborate to develop joint products and technological platforms based on artificial intelligence,” said Vurgun Hajiyev, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA), AzerTAG reported.
During his remarks at the panel discussion titled "Azerbaijan-Türkiye Business Forum: Digital Transformation and Technology Bridge" he emphasized that combining the strengths of the two nations’ technological ecosystems, particularly in fintech, can foster innovation.
Vurgun Hajiyev highlighted the potential of adapting Turkish technology to the Azerbaijani market and establishing joint platforms, noting that collaboration with companies specializing in data governance, data engineering, and data science is a priority.
The IDDA official also stressed the importance of sharing experience with Türkiye and other Turkic states in this process. He added: “The application of AI should be expanded not only in higher education institutions, but also in general education schools. A joint approach and coordinated cooperation are essential for fostering competitive artificial intelligence products on a regional scale.”
