Bishkek, Aug. 31, 2026 /Kabar/. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic on a working visit.
He was met at Manas International Airport by Adylbek Kasymaliev, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan.
Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the "SCO Plus" Summit and the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games.
The Azerbaijani President received a stuffed toy of a snow leopard, the national symbol of Kyrgyzstan and the official symbol of the 6th World Nomad Games.
Kyrgyzstan will chair the SCO in 2026. This year, Bishkek will host a commemorative summit dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the organization's founding.
