Baisalov: Relations between Kyrgyzstan and Yakutia are on rise and acquire new content

Bishkek, July 10, 2025. /Kabar/. During his working visit to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov held a meeting with the head of the republic Aisen Nikolayev, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties between Kyrgyzstan and Yakutia, including the implementation of joint projects in the fields of culture, economics, agriculture and sports. Particular attention was paid to strengthening public diplomacy and preserving the common historical and cultural heritage.

Edil Baisalov expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted the importance of further developing ties between the fraternal peoples. He emphasized that relations between Kyrgyzstan and the Sakha Republic are on the rise and are acquiring new content in the spirit of friendship and mutual respect.

During the visit, Edil Baisalov also laid flowers at the monument to the outstanding statesman and public figure, native of Yakutia Maxim Kirovich Ammosov, who led the autonomous Kara-Kyrgyz region within the RSFSR and played a key role in the establishment of Soviet statehood in Kyrgyzstan.

The Kyrgyz delegation is taking part in the ceremonial events in Yakutia dedicated to the XXII Manchaary Games, symbolizing the strength of the national spirit and the unity of the peoples of Russia.
