As part of the 2026 Individual Partnership Cooperation Programme (IPCP) between the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and NATO, an advisory meeting has commenced in Baku, AZERTAG reported with reference to the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting, an integral component of NATO’s Operational Capabilities Concept (OCC) Evaluation and Feedback Programme, focused on the planning and preparation of the OCC units’ Self-Evaluation Level-1 (SEL-1) exercise, scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan in June 2026.
The main objective of the meeting, attended by representatives of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense and international experts, was to clarify and approve evaluation questions designed to assess the combat training, logistical support, equipment readiness, and interoperability of the units with NATO standards.
