Bishkek Arena stadium to place 51 thousand spectators

Bishkek, June 1, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov made an unscheduled visit to the Bishkek Arena multifunctional sports complex under construction, and reviewed the progress of the project.

The construction of the stadium is proceeding according to the approved schedule. Up to date, construction, installation and decoration work continues at the facility, engineering systems are being installed, and the surrounding area is being landscaped.

The head of state emphasized that the construction of Bishkek Arena is of particular importance in the further development of the country's sports infrastructure and expanding the opportunities for holding international competitions.

The president instructed to ensure high quality construction work and complete the project within the established time frame. He also noted the importance of creating the necessary infrastructure for its effective operation after the complex is put into operation. In this regard, he said that it would be advisable to place commercial and service facilities on part of the stadium territory. The activities of these facilities will contribute to the reception and further development of the complex.

The Bishkek Arena stadium, designed for 51 thousand spectators, will be the largest football arena in Kyrgyzstan. The facility is being built in accordance with FIFA and AFC international standards, which will allow the country to host major international matches and competitions.

As a reminder, the opening ceremony of World Nomad Games will be held in newly constructed Bishkek Arena stadium on August 31, 2026.
