Bishkek, April 7, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov, Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev and Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev today, on the 15th anniversary of the April Revolution of 2010, laid flowers at the Monument to those who died for the freedom of the people.

The Cabinet of Ministers reported that the participants of the ceremony honored the memory of compatriots who gave their lives in the name of justice, freedom and the democratic future of Kyrgyzstan with a minute of silence.

"This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the people's revolution of March 24 and the 15th anniversary of the events of April 7. These dates have forever entered the history of our state, and today we honor their memory. Our people fought for justice, for the purity of power, for their freedom. It is very gratifying that, unlike in the past, today we see unity between the people and the government. Today, all the hopes and aspirations of the people are being realized," noted Edil Baisalov.

The April Revolution of 2010 became an important milestone on the path to the formation of the Kyrgyz Republic as a democratic and fair state.
