Bishkek, April 15, 2025. /Kabar/. On April 16, the first Truck Art Exhibition of Pakistani Artists will be opened at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Aitiev, which is organized by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Kyrgyz Republic. The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The museum reported that visitors of the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with a unique form of self-expression and take a fresh look at the contemporary folk art of South Asia. Guests will have the opportunity to observe with their own eyes the process of creating unique artistic patterns, which are the hallmark of the South Asian tradition. This direction has become a symbol of Pakistani folk art, in which bright colors, complex carving, calligraphy and floral motifs turn ordinary trucks into moving art objects.

On the opening day, the museum also hosted a master class from recognized masters from the Sarkar Truck Art company. Sarkar Truck Art, founded by artist and cultural activist Tariq Khan, has been presenting Pakistani art traditions around the world for over 16 years. Exhibitions with the participation of his team have been held in Australia, the USA, Germany, Poland, Malaysia, Kuwait and other countries.
