Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2026. /Kabar/. A branch of the Kyrgyz-Chinese International Technology Transfer Center has opened in Kyrgyzstan. It will serve as a platform for developing technological, investment, and industrial cooperation between the two countries, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to them, the center will search for modern technologies and equipment in China, facilitate the creation of joint ventures, localize production, and attract investment. Projects will be supported from conception to production launch.
The opening ceremony was attended by Temir Sariev, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, government representatives, and a Chinese delegation led by Shen Lin, Mayor of Urumqi.
Aibek Asanbekov, Head of the CCI Representative Office in China, noted that the goal is to transition from a "buy and sell" model to a "create and develop together" model.
The CCI Representative Office in China and the Center in Kyrgyzstan will work as a unified mechanism for finding technologies and partners.
