Bishkek, Oct. 16, 2025 /Kabar/. The third Meeting of Security Council Secretaries/National Security Advisors in the Central Asia-India format was held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of Baktybek Bekbolotov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Presidential Administration reports.
According to the press service, this multilateral format is a continuation of broad regional cooperation in the interests of peace and stability, and also serves as a unique platform for exchanging views on key security issues.
In his speech, Baktybek Bekbolotov noted that the most valuable aspect of this meeting is the similarity in assessments of the situation and the impact of challenges and threats on regional and national security.
Current international political circumstances are in many ways the main constraint on effective interaction and fruitful cooperation. A widespread loss of trust, sanctions pressure, and geopolitical rivalry are slowing the implementation of joint projects.
In response, building on a solid foundation of security and stability, strategic vision and proactive diplomacy can become essential tools for deepening economic and cultural ties.
Cooperation must be comprehensive. It must include not only military and law enforcement components, but also cultural interaction, humanitarian exchanges, expanded educational programs, and joint initiatives in science and technology.
