Bishkek, Feb.17, 2026. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet Adylbek Kasymaliev introduced the Acting Minister of Emergency Situations, Urmatbek Shamyrkanov to the staff.
Adylbek Kasymaliev emphasized that Shamyrkanov's appointment to this position is due to his extensive experience within the Ministry of Emergency Situations. He noted that in the face of modern challenges and threats, the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is becoming especially relevant and requires high professional training and efficiency.
"I am confident that with your experience and knowledge, you will be able to effectively organize the ministry's work, establish cooperation with other government agencies and services, and strengthen preventative measures to reduce the risk of emergency situations," Kasymaliev said.
Concluding his speech, Chairman wished Shamyrkanov success in his responsible position and expressed his support for the implementation of all assigned tasks.
It should be noted that by presidential decree, Shamyrkanov has been appointed as Acting Minister of Emergency Situations. His candidacy has been submitted to Jogorku Kenesh for approval for appointment to the minister's post.
